From what I hear, RAF and France are sending planes in now.
Resolution states that any nation may take any action to stop Quadaffi, sans landing troops. Vote passed 10-5 with the major players abstaining like China and Russia. I guess the French UN ambassador told the Chinese off, mentioning them supressing the Jasmine Revolution.
I'm still not sure if I'm for this. If the UK, France, ect want to intervene, that is fine, but I think the US should of stayed out of it.

good thing france and spain didnt just "stay out of it", eh?

That's for them to decide.
My problem is that (from my view) Europe constantly complains about what America does in terms of interventionism, but never will take the lead in doing anything like this, unless we do it first. For once, I'd like the US to let the Europeans handle it and see how easy it is.

Like the Suez war where France and UK had to withdraw under pressure of countries like USA? And to be serious Iraq or Libya is a huge difference... And I thought Europe was this time divided aswell..
