in 1986 the original NES launched in the US at $200 for the hardware and $50 per game.
20 years later the wii launches at $250 for the hardware and $50 per game.
...i know gaming feels pretty expensive (and it is) but honestly gaming is cheaper now then it has ever been when you factor in the inflation that has occured over those 20 years.
