The gameplay is still pretty fun (Akiyama's fighting style rocks), but the story is boring so far. I can totally understand why the IGN reviewer was bored with the story. There's a bunch of characters name-dropping Ueno, Kanemura, Aira, etc, and all I'm thinking is "who are they?" Why should I care about them, and how does this involve me? Why should I care that another clan is partying on someone else's turf? It's just been boring talk with people name-dropping random people.
Anyways, the game is pretty fun. I liked that a few battles have challenges in them (makes them more interesting and easier to rack in experience pts), and I also liked that the side-missions (Akiyama's at least) pertain to his profession. Most of them involved money.
