The whole anti-American behaviour of Al Jazeera claims of certain people from US if my memory serves me right were somewhere in 2003, at the very beginning of Iraqi campaign. A lot of time has passed since then, but either way to call it "a puppet" - it's a bit of a exaggeration (don't play with conspiracy theories, google "elite theory"), but since then elite groups that were choosed to represent, be the leading force of Islamic world and the US have come to compromise, the compromise that coming to an end now thanks to Obama and democrats - that's undoubtful. No surprise that Al Thani's project (consdiering Al Thani's past and relations) was choosed to become a mainstream media of such collaboration for the time being.
