I think Crossfire scaling is now better than SLI since the 68xx series launch.

I'm refering to the 460 specifically, its one of the best Nvidia card to SLI as its not a power hog and has great overall performance

Crossfire firmware and compatibility is horrible the last I check, I will admit though, I haven't kept up with the news as I should but in general they tend to have more issue running games than a SLI machine.
