Maybe she hasn't had the same chance to think things through, sorry to use a tired old cliché but maybe she's busy just now? Don't write yourself off just yet snesboy :D If you got close enough that you can pour your heart out then she must care about you on some level..?
What's happening in Japan right now is horrific, but there is little that we can do outside of donating money, as tadster12 said. As for the supplies and things, I think the crisis organistations and governments are doing what they can.
Don't feel like your problems aren't problems, just because they aren't as big as someone else's.
