be shooting themselves in there own foot if they do. because what there is 5 million PS3 in japan and playstation has an stronger following on players that enjoy those type of artistic games.

REZ bombed in Japan (under 50k across DC & PS2 combined), this isn't the sort of game that's even being targeted for Japan first (it's last if anything).  Also, outside digital services (where 360 does WAY better) I don't see any similarly "artistic" games really having a stronger following on one or the other HD console.

I would think that Flower fits the bill and that sold very well iirc.  Not to say that the quoted person is correct that Playstation has a stronger following for artsy stuff but there is one game that I think is similarly "artistic" and has a strong following on one of the HD consoles.

I'd say something like Geometry Wars is closer visually and thematically (even if it's 2D), and that game broke  million on XBLA iirc.  XBLA is huge for for this sort of stuff, hell I'm sure Miz has already made a mint off stuff like Lumines Live and REZ HD.

Though still, I can't really think of anything comparable that's done as well at retail.  On either 360 or PS3.
