here is my simple take:
No one wants to pay for anything!
And if they can get it for free they will do it.
If they do what is above and remove anti priacy measures making it easier to priate and lower prices instead wont work because again no one wants to pay for anything and will increase priacy.
The fact that priating is so easy for so many the only solution is to make it harder. If it becomes too hard for people to bother and rather pay then yea it will slow priacy. But that is very costly and hard to do.
Movie industry have the Box office, the Music has radio and Concerts. The gaming and software industry have none of that, they are the true victims because they dont have an no priacy money maker. The step to create what the movie and music industy has for those two sectors.
I dont want to pay for anything but i know that if publishers dont get there money there isn't going to be games.
