I sold my copy of Black Ops and got Homefront on preorder. I think the game looks fun and its something different to play. There are differences between homefront and COD.

1. Much larger maps - Think Bad Company size

2. Vehicles

3. Battlepoints - different than killstreaks in that you can use your battle points how you wish to suit your playstyle. Do you save up for vehicles or do you use your BP on drones? Do you help your team out by using UAVs and spotting people or want to use a hellfire missle airstrike?

4. Better focus on teamplay. You actually get battlepoints (more BP than you do with a kill) when completing objectives instead of getting rewarded by sitting around and camping like in COD to get your killstreaks. You also get BP from spotting people with air drones. COD is a lone wolf game.

Sure it has the XP, the ranking up, the attachments, the camos that all modern FPSs will have these days. But it has a lot of unique features and I think it looks fun. I'll let you know my views come Tuesday.

Edit: Forgot to mention dedicated servers. Not P2P bullshit.
