I'm from Brantford on Southern Ontario. Its located near many of the major cities in Canada such as Toronto, Hamilton, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, etc. Wayne Gretzky was born here and the first ever telephone call was made here. There is one player in the NFL from Brantford, Nick Kaczur who is an O-lineman for the NE Patriots.
Our city is also home to one of the largest native reserves in Canada. We have one of the highest crime rates in Canada, one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in Canada, and tons of drugs go through Brantford.
In terms of entertainment there is shit all to do here. We do have a nice golf course, a casino and a nice movie theatre but that's about it. Well actually we are currently in the process of renovating/improving one of our local hockey rinks so that should be a nice improvement to the city.
Not a whole lot else to tell. Its basically a shithole but somehow the best NHL player ever came from here. I'm not a huge Gretzky fan but it is cool that he came from the same city as me, in fact he went to the same high school as me, and him and my dad went to the same elementary school together.
