Animals do not have the intellectual capacity of humans. Shouldn't we try to be better than them? I was talking about what's acceptable for humans to do. I don't care if animals kill eachother for fun.

No they don't. Which is why animals are inferior and we hold them to a lower standard. Their lives included.

Now I'm not for killing animals for entertainment, anger, etc. But I sure as hell don't think an animals life, especially a rodent, is worth sending someone to prision.

She should pay a fine and maybe be force to take an anger management class. But the hamster's life isn't worth ruining her life.
