I don't know if that's directed towards me or not.  If so, I'm just saying that Heavy Rain was a mature title.  I didn't say it broke down walls, changed the face of the world, or became a worldwide sensation.  It's just a game that i think everyone should play, espescially those that haven't tried anything like it--that's why most of the games I picked serve as introductions to new gamers.

I read it and assumed you meant that, but since you didn't mean that, the the statement is no longer directed at you. I have no beef with people who simply like the game.

But those who do act like it's some big breakthrough in gaming are  a big annoyance I have about the game. It's just a visual novel, a genre that has been around for years. Heck, even mature themes can be seen in games from as far back as the mid 80s (just on PC more often than NES), or in RPGs like the "Soulblazer" trilogy.
