i cant figure out why what youre saying is relevant, but sonys security was done wrong, otherwwise it would have been quite impossible to crack in the way that it was. but anyways sony did do it wrong and it was cracked. custom firmware came out of it and it seems that its over. new custom firmware looks... difficult at the moment. i cant be certain, but it seems like the only way security will be cracked again is from scratch, but as people who care work on it, maybe we'll see a more simple solution come out btw, an update to my first post, i was just talking to someone about it and they noticed that this wasnt the only change, the loaders were removed in this update also, so their iso and app loaders (amung others) were removed and replaced by lv.02 |
I find this hilarious, because all the hackers said that with the master keys in their hands, Sony can't fix the problem with a firmware update. Guess what, they did it already with 3.56.
However, I really wonder how they did it.
