I can't believe no one's mentioned Naruto: Ulitmate Ninja Storm, and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 yet. They're < T, they're cartoony and they're action/adventure (well story based fighter really but close enough), and they're a ton of fun.
You really do need to play 1 before 2 otherwise the story won't make much sense.
Gotta consider at least one of the Lego games too. Indiana Jones or Harry Potter perhaps?
