Wow, quite a difficult question.
Ratchet is the first thing that comes to mind.
Luckily enough there's sly cooper collection so you could make him buy that. Its 3 games in one, however the first one may look a little outdated.
JRPGs like eternal sonata might work too.
PS Move heroes if he has a move controller.
There will be tons of PSN games though.
