Most of you die hard Nintendo fans know the name Zoonami. For many of us we heard about Zoonami when it was founded by RareWare Software Head and Nintendo of America consultant Martin Hollis. Martin Hollis was the director and producer of 007GoldenEye and PerfectDark64. Martin Hollis left RareWare near the completion of PerfectDark to work for Nintendo Of America as one of their lead consultants in the developement of the Nintendo GameCube. He founded Zoonami in year 2000 and hasn't looked back since. Since its conception 6-years ago Zoonami hasn't released a single game, many of us were beginning to wonder if maybe Zoonami had keeled over and simply gone away but those of us who thought we had seen it all were wrong horribly wrong. Zoonami is alive and well with their first game being officially released next month. They have three games in developement and I will give you a small peak at two of them and a little bit of history on the third one.

Zendoku is pretty much Soduko on crack or in the words of Zoonami "Soduko with Ninja's". The game has been in developement for years but we now know its the first of Zoonami's three projects to see release. Zenduko features numerous different modes of unconventional Sudoku gameplay as well as a very well thought out multiplayer mode featuring both battle and co-op. The game is set to be released next month across North America for more information on this game visit my preview!

FunkyDilla is the first known project to come from Zoonami and its best known project. the game has remained shrouded in mystery since it was first announced in the early millenium. FunkyDilla was origionally planned for the GameCube/PS2/X-Box but is now thought to be in developement for the Nintendo Wii. The game according to Hollis is supposed to revolutional music games and bring gaming back to the pick up and play of the 80's. It is supposedly the only game known to be in developement that only features a single button and due to this many have speculated it is now a Wii project.

Confidential
For years there has been a third project known only as Project Z3796WP. Zoonami confirmed ages ago that they were working on projects for and with Nintendo. One of those projects is cancelled game GameZero but others were eluded too his unknown confidential project could be a Wii agme but nobody knows!
So Martin Hallis and Zoonami haven't gone anywhere as many suspected they may be taking along time but after six years the first of their three known projects has come to fruitation and with any luck we'll be seeing the next two games hit the Wii within the next little while. So what do you think of our little mistery developer who always seems to be disapearing can Martin Hollis bring us some Killer Apps for the Nintendo Wii? Which game are you looking forward to most?

So the question is can Zoonami survive I mean they've got to be running low on funds after 6-years of no product launches. Can Zenduko sell enough copies to actually revive and help Zoonami become a household name. Can Martin Hollis use all that knowledge he's collected over the years to help put Zoonami on the map? What do you think of Zenduko and FunkyDilla?
