Which part? The part where they complained that Apple should raise more barriers to the App Store or the part where they complained that Apple should reduce barriers to the App Store? You didn't even notice that they want it both ways...
Developers want everything handed to them on a silver platter. They want unrestricted access to all hardware with no license agreement or fees, free dev tools and support, and they'd appreciate it if you would arbitrarily block out competing developers while you're at it. Oh, and please quadruple your hardware resources while you subsidize the price, we'd rather not have to go through the trouble of optimizing code. Also, the customers need to please keep handing over money on a monthly basis without worrying too much about whether they actually enjoy the product we make.
I'm sick of the crybabies. Nintendo and Apple aren't killing gaming fast enough.
