yeah its merely another version of a backup, i dont think it will allow you to save directly to the cloud.
This means that you will have to save your game before you quit the game (like always), then copy that save to the cloud, (as if you are saving to a flash drive),
then you can access it from any ps3 that has your psn account set up.
this is cool but it really only saves the time of fumbling with external drives and nothing more.
