Well yah wouldn't you? the guy ordered his troops to kill unarmed civilians. Then when it looks like he may loose power and get killed, he asks for protection and freedom from prosecution. Seriously he needs to pay for his crimes, if I was a rebel I sure wouldn't accept those kinds of terms either.
On the other hand I heard today the rebels agreed to those demands and gave Gadaffi 24 hours to accept those terms and leave the country. Last I had heard he had not done so!
