It is worth owning an xbox 360 for just a very few things, and I won't even count Kinect.
1) Gears of War. I still play it online and its ancient. Thank god the new one is coming soon and they are getting the multiplayer beta out so early they should have all the bugs worked out on release date.
2) Halo. I know its not a lot of peoples cup of tea but Reach is spectacular. And if you haven't played the series before going back and picking all the other titles up won't cost you an arm and a leg.
3) Fable/Alan Wake. Both are really really fun, and Alan Wakes story is fantastic.
4) Xbox has a lot of downloadable content that you can buy on live that is very fun and you can catch a lot of great deals if you look for them.
