The reason why DOTA is popular is because the Warcraft 3 engine makes it more accessible to gamers around the world (even the one playing on their low end systems), Interface is almost perfect, camera angles are great. If demigod is going to be a graphics wh*re (playable on only 5% of the worlds computers) , it is bound to flop (Crysis anyone). And we do not need a complete 3D interface like a third person shooter. A true RTS interface like the one used on C&C3, Warcraft 3 would make it much more accesible. |
