Beckett? He is more known for his post season perfomance.
Boston has Jon Lester (3.35 ERA, 19-9 record) and Buchholz (2.33 ERA, 17-7 Record). Both of them are under 30 and have these numbers in a big time hitters ball park. Beckett is just icing on the cake. Also if Lackey has a bounceback year (It's only fair since people swear that Burnett will have one) the Yanks can not compete with that staff.
Boston has also upgraded their hitting lineup. There is no denying that Boston is the team to beat in the AL East. Yanks are just a $208 Million dollar Wild-card preten... err, contender again. |

3 more weeeeeeks! Woo-hoo!
