For those of you promoting the Galaxy Tab, even the Samsung CEO said it was inadequate after seeing the launch of iPad 2. That's a really lousy endorsement to buy a product.

At this point, my only choice would be between the iPad and Xoom. But, if you can wait, do so.

Whatever you do, DON'T buy anything running Android 2.2. That's just throwing your money away at this point.

Aren't they re-working the Galaxy Tab for 10.1" and a dual-core ARM? Could be decent at that point. Do agree with the non-Honeycomb tablets. The real issue with sub-3.0 is that most don't include the Android market place, so you won't get all of the tablet apps when they come out.

No. After that potentially miss-translated quote came out (rocketpig's link), Samsung said the 10" is going out as is.

Personally I don't see what's wrong with it. It basically has everything the iPad 2 does plus better connections, more RAM, and depeding on your preferences, a better screen size (widescreen). btw, it already had the Tegra-2 dual core chip.

Other than that it just comes down to preference with OS and weight/look/feel.
