I am wondering if the revenue quote is the actual cut they got from the game, or gross revenues.

If it is the former, it could make sense. Steam may of taken a smaller cut of the revenues than Microsoft (say 70/30 for Steam and 60/40 for XBLA), and it would make sense, as Microsoft doesn't allow self-publishing on XBLA and may of brokered a smaller cut for Team Meat in return for more ad space on the service.

I don't understand the bickering. Team Meat just made over $2 million USD from both versions. That is a million dollars for each person in Team Meat. No one should be complaining about which one made more money, because it was very, very close and both sold incredibly well.

If anything, it proves the viability of cross-platform digital games. Selling over 400,000 copies of a game like SMB in 3 months is incredible, and should lead to very strong sales over the next year.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
