Well thats down to 2 shows I watch now.

As far as Im concerned he is irreplacable, the show lives and dies with him.  And to me, it just died.  Its one thing if its a minor character who didnt have much screen time,  its another thing if its the main character.  

have you watched the prequel mini-series?  it was pretty good. 

Yeah it was, I was actually impressed with it. I expected it to feel slapped together since thats kinda what it was, but it felt complete.
