I have to admit as a kid i had red, blue, yellow and gold on my gameboy colour. I absolutely loved them. I played them (along with my numerous SNES games) for absolutely hours on end and it never got boring. But... As the years went on and i got older i stated to get bored of the new games (but i still love my origional 4) in my opinion the guys making the Pokemon games are all out of ideas. My friend plays them still now but i dont see the point of it anymore. I mean come on an ice-cream, as a pokemon its ridiculus. Nowadays its also really easy to hack pokemon (which i hate) i dont see the point of not playing the game and getting satisfaction from really working for the achievents, pokemon and of course the ending movie. To me personally i find that pokemon, as much as i hate to say it, has just lost it's touch. :(
