it's the bowling that sucks imo..batting wise England is top notch atm. and you should see the highlights of the ireland match if you haven't already. It was one of those special innings by a batsman that saved the Irish. If England had some strong bowlers who could bowl some yorkers like Malinga, things would have been very different
