How could it have been Narville if it was Stahls troops greeting him, and Stahl tried to kill Narville in the game... as much as i would like to think its Narville, since many times throughout the story, i though it was working as a double agent. I just don't believe that its Narville.
And i certainly don't believe its Visari, although he was such a great villian, and will be tough to have another villian as good as him, but i don't believe Guerilla Games would go the body switch route...
Most Likely, they are starting off with Stahl's father, and he has some "Amazing planetary destruction" weapon he's been building underground while letting his son run the Stahl factories operation on the surface, Because of the age differences i believe that Stahl and Visari would have had and the trust that Visari in Stahl, it would seem that Visari would have built his empire around the weapons from Stahl senior and Stahl senior is working to continue Visari's vision.
My Two cents as to where i would like/hope the plot to go.
