People get taken to court for animal cruelties all the time. A few drunken man was fined last year in the UK for kicking a bird to death. They were drunk and obviously not thinking like properly behaved human being but nothing would have come of it if they hadn't been dumb enough to record their idiocy and upload it to youtube.

Oh no, its not an excuse, its just a statement explaining one of the probably reason they did what they did (they were also probably jackasses). The point here is that a dead pidgeon is a dead pidgeon, the only reason they were fined was because they were dumb enough to film themself then got the clip uploaded somehow. This is in response to the original poster that I quoted, who thought legal proceeding for kicking a bird is retarded, I was merely explaining that it happens all the time, and it almost always starts because it was on camera.
