Claiming "technically they are right, but they shouldn't say it so loud" isn't a particularly powerful condemnation of their actions. "Yes, gays will be punished by god for their wickedness, but so will lots of other people! You don't need to be rude about it." Does little to defend the system of beliefs.

Well, really... when you look at it from the traditional point of view.  It isn't even "Lots of other people."

It's "All people."

The reason gay people are supposed to "burn in hell" actually has nothing to do with them being gay... well it does, but it doesn't.

Any sex not meant with the intent of procreation of a child is a sin.  Gay sex just looks like it's being targeted out because it's the "most obvious" crime, since sex can never create children in such a way.

There isn't a single person who would escape life without committing a sin, hence, all should going to hell based on the guidelines.

Hence why all are told not to judge. (and why these people are dumb)

And why all are forgiven of their sins.

Saying the bible says gay people are going to burn in hell for having sex, is a lot like saying that gay people are going to hell for thieving.

It's got nothing to do with the orientation, and everything to do with them having sex for pleasure.  Which is a sin for straight couples as well.

In the end, the core message of Christianity can be boiled down into one sentence:  "Nobody is perfect, and that's ok, so long as you are aware you are imperfect, aware of your flaws and strive to be better."

I guess the problem is that the ideea that sex for pleasure is something "terrible", on the same level as stealing, is pretty insulting.

Also, straight people can marry, then go to confession, be forgiven for their sins, and live a happy life. Gays can form a couple, and genuenly love, care for eachother, and take care of eachother, yet their whole realtionship is one big sin, and they'll burn to hell for it. It's insulting that they're told to "repent" for what is probably the best thing in their life.

Chrisitans are really not the best people to take advice regarding sex (they have a very sex negative attitude).

Sapphi confession only exists in a few denominations of Christianity. In Christianity you must turn from your sin and repent. You can't just keep on sinning and not do anything about it, that would be hypocritical which I sense from talking to you is one of the reasons you strongly dislike Christianity.

Being gay is not a sin, having sex with another man/woman is a sin. In the same way a straight guy wants to have sex before marriage. Its not a sin to want its a sin to do so.

Then you mention homosexuality being put in the same catagory as theivery, but your forgetting gluttony. Over eating is just as much a sin as homosexuality. Its all sin even claiming to be righteous is a sin. No man is without sin.

As for all gays going to hell. I don't think all of them will. As I said in another reply that is up to God not myself, yourself or anyone else. I sin every day usually that I know of , however I try very hard not to and when I notice I am doing so I repent. If a homosexual has sex with another man and is truly repentant tries his hardest not to but falls again. Who am I to judge? God will see if the man is truly repentant, he will see if the man is a true follower of his word.
