oh please your post will be one of many of people to stubborn and in denial to accept the fact that Sony doesn't give a shit about anyone hacking thier console. You LITERALLY got the proof right there and still you ignore it, I mean for fucks sake was the PS3 NOT the most OPEN console on the market? 'Hell if anything Sony supports people who hack. I don't know what you people got aganist Sony but it gets annoying after a while.

FACT: if all Gehot did was hack HIS console he wouldn't be getting sued by anyone, releasing the keys and tools to the pubic is what he's being sued for, now please don't respond I know EXACTLY what your gonna say, and I don't wanna waste my time. Go ahead and continue to think Sony is trying to butt rape your consumer rights. Lets just agree to disagree.

Yes, lets look at the proof

"...Hotz is accused of breaching the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other lawsafter he published an encryption key and software tools on his website..."

Now let me unbold the part that you guys are fixated on.

"...Hotz is accused of breaching the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other laws after he published an encryption key and software tools on his website..."

Now let me bold the part I am talking about

"...Hotz is accused of breaching the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and other laws after he published an encryption key and software tools on his website..."

Oh lookey there. Exactly what I said:

I'm not even going to try to argue this really. Hotz is accused of breaching DMCA. Which criminalizes circumventing DRM. Which is exactly what hacking your console does. So yes, in essence if Sony wins they can pursue anyone that hacked their console

<---- this is me, agreeing to disagree

look next gen. I want you hack your ps4 if you can, and if and when you do, keep it to yourslef. If Sony sues you I swear I'll give you a full apology, and pay for all your legal bills.
