Not only can you buy the PSP2, you can also grab a 50'' wireless TV to go with your PSP2. (You can buy a 24'' version if portability is your thing.) |
Ok, so first of all, the DS didn't overtake the PSP only because of its hardware design. It overtook the PSP primarily because of its software. DS games were far more compatible with the "on the go" theme, and are MUCH more casual friendly, inviting millions of new gamers into the handheld arena. My sister never plays videogames, i was borrowing my friends DS at the time, and I had her try Professor Layton, and she was hooked. So software has a big part to do with the DS' success.
Now, you mention something about the PSP2/NGP coming with a 50" wireless TV. I mean, I am honestly not sure what to make of this idea, but it is so laughable that I am hoping you are joking. what the hell is the point of a portable device, if A) you have to hook it up to your TV at home to get the DS effect, which mind you, moving your head up and down to look at both screens is NOWHERE near as intuitive or erogonomic as shifting your eyes back and forth between 2 screens. Its not feasible, its actually ridiculous! Worse yet, B) is taking an effin flat screen TV with you on the go (BUT HEY! a 24" TV is JUST RIGHT for portability), like that's just gonna fit in your pocket or backpack. RIDICULOUS!!! can you imagine someone on a bus busting out a flat screen TV connected to his PSP? If he doesn't get mugged or murdered for that TV, God will surely strike him with lightning for being such an idiot.
