psp lost because ds's touch screen let it have good games which were unplayable on psp unless they got ported and someone managed to figure out a good control scheme.
now that psp has touch screen it will basically have every game 3ds has (and iphone and android) except much better in terms of resolution, graphics, framerate and possibly even controls since the psp has the rear touch pad too.
put that together with proper PSN support and ds is doomed.
i simply dont think 3d will be a selling factor. tv 3d will become a minimum standard the same way HD did but in the handheld market 3ds is alone.
