It'll never work IMO, people are too desensitized to violence (at least in video games). And most people who play war games seem to be preteens/teens so they wouldn't get the point of an "emotional war game"

People thought HR would never work. No longer can something be pegged as "not gonna work", because the market is always growing and changing and fresh ideas seem to be coming out strong this gen.

Well yeah I agree HR's success came as a surprise to almost everyone, but I really don't see how an "emotional war game" could work. Like I'm not saying it wouldn't sell well, but I think people would miss the point of it and just play it like any other shooter.

Well, after what Cage said about buttons, it probably wouldn't be a FPS at all. Maybe more like a war decision simulator. Try to shoot the heavy machine gun man, or just stay in cover and survive a little longer. Help the stoopid bully from the squad that is pinned down over there...or just stai in cover and survive a little longer.

Anyway, an emotional war game that would show the horrors of war would be horrible...
