This sure didn't help in relation to sub-prime mortgages. Hey here's a great idea "we'll make banks give out high risk mortgages to low income communities (a nice way of saying poor black communities) so that they can live in houses they clearly can't afford, but it doesn't matter because house values will continue to rise forever"
That act was one of the most retarded things I've ever read.
