Banning the console off PSN was a normal move though. Im pretty sure this tool would have come out whatever Sony did beside that.

No, it started when Geohot screwed things up for everyone, it seems NO ONE ever remembers that part.

Do you honestly believe that Sony's hands were tied and they had no other choice but to remove the OtherOS?
