calling your TV your second screen sounds surprisingly not mobile. so while it cool to be able to easily display your NGP display on your TV no game is going to use that set up in their game design...
so here is what i think....i've got 23 DS games. in my experience TWEWY is really the only game i have where i would say the second screen is required (as in the game couldn't possibly work without two screens). every other game i've play the second screen was used in a very limited fashion to either:
- display of various menu items (something i don't think will hurt the NGP, home consoles have worked just fine with only one screen and menus)
- simply serves as an touch input control (which the NGP now has on the rear)
now i'm not sure that rear input will be as easy to use as a front input but we'll see i guess. however, with the NGP being a multi-screen (front and back), multi-touch, pressure-sensitive interface i would say NGP has the advantage here.
