Also you being a UNI student kind of makes it hard to compare.
However you mentioned 75K is the average salary over 3 years before tax. So 3500 pounds would roughly be 5%. I guess after taxes it may approach the 10% mark too.
So I guess in a way based on wages etc.. it sorta does not seem too bad any more in Australia. Considering the the past games where $100each and NO MOVEMENT. Now they launch in the range of $65-$89. Then sometimes go up to $100 after a week out at launch. Specials also bring alot of the older games below the $50AUD mark, which in the past would rearly happen (well where I live anyway).
I guess what I am getting at is I feel a little less ripped off now then I use to in the past with the local market prices.
