I would say it's just you, but you brought back memories when xbox kids would put down resistance 1 & 2 back then with the same line. I don't think you will ever play this, or previous games, but i assure you Resistance holds up its own very well in the FPS genre.

Not to mention the "bubble shields" were in R1 before they appeared in Halo 3
