Realistic = Like REAL life
knowing that, there is nothing realistic about any of those games you mentioned
Arma 2, America's Army, Operation Flash Point 1, <--- realistic.
just because a game is set in modern times using mondern weapons doesn't make them realistic at all.
that's like Gran Turismo, GTR2, Live for Speed, Forza (to a certain extent), are realistic
Need for Speed, Burnout, Test Drive aren't.
now me I perfer both, If I'm playing a realistic game I expect it to be realistic and I'll have lots of fun enjoying that, same for unrealistic games that I play.
no one version should ever be chosen over the other, that's how you destroy variety (much like this gen becasue everyone thinks Battlefield, MoH, and the worst offender of them all COD is at all realistic) fun as hell no doubt about it, but in NO way realistic.
