According to the dell site, your desktop has PCI-E, so you should be good.

I would strongly urge you to consider the GTX570 instead. Unless you are running mutliple monitors or have 3D vision, you really don't need the GTX580. Even with Crysis 2 and battlefield 3, this card is an overkill.

GTX580 is for those freaks who have to have the latest tech at all times(who resell their gear every 6 months to get the latest stuff), or who are running multiple monitors with 3D vision... Besides the card will tank in price as soon as the GTX590 comes out. Look at what happened to the GTX480.

I am running 2 25" moniters which is why im getting the new card :P

would this power supplywork with my computer?

And thanx alot for your help :D

Hold on...so you plan to run 2 monitors or game on 2 monitors? 1 GTX570 is plenty to run 2 monitors if you game on one.

If you plan to game on 2 monitors, you may want to consider GTX580 (and a new power supply) however you will have a monitor bezel right in the middle which will ruin any 1st person shooter or 3rd person action games. I don't think its worth playing games on dual moitors...

In any case, the absolute best value for your buck right now is this video card(if you can find it)... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125362&cm_re=gigabyte_560-_-14-125-362-_-Product

Look up the benchmarks for that model... 1000 mhz factory overclock makes it equal to GTX570 at 100 dollars less.

You can use the money left over by not buying the GTX580 to buy new power supply and a solid state drive...or sumthin' :)
