Some what disappointed from the announcement. My hype of Infamous is still really high, but whenever features like these are showcased (which I have zero interest in), I worry about the core gameplay and story. I been wrong in the past before, for example Uncharted 2 was still awesome, but certain games (BIOSHOCK 2), have disappointed me with unnecessary features.

Why wouldn't you be excited about this?

It basically means that they are asking for the people at home to make great content (and there are truly amazing and talented people out there) and then they will include these missions in the single player campaign. It can only bring to good things.

Because just like LBP, I have to suffer so-so content, that people think are amazing, to get to the really good ones. I doubt I will use this feature.

Also to answer the guy above you, rarely are games announced, but usually one or two sneak in.  Also didn't know Sly 4 was confirmed, so I guess one good came out of today....I learned that SLY 4 is coming.

I know I sound like a downer, I just don't like features like this, I think it takes away from the focus of games. Rarely does a company even do these features justice, and usually scarfices are made to include features. If Mass Effect 3 announced it had multiplayer, I would be disappointed greatly and that is my most wanted game.

But that's the thing...it's not actually a feature.

“Infamous 2 will have user-generated levels, Sucker Punch says at GDC. Apparently the user generated missions will be integrated into the single player story mode somehow. If your mission is played by a lot of people and highly rated, Sucker Punch will drop it into the single player game. Interesting stuff.”

They will only choose the best content.
