Both, the DS and the PSP are brilliant systems for JRPGs this gen, yet VGC members unfortunately only discuss the console JRPG games. While I generally prefer the DS for its (imo) unmatched diversity (more and better puzzle games, some exclusive adventure games, strategy games, unique action adventure games like Zelda PH/ST or Okamiden), the JRPG genre alone makes the PSP a worthwile purchase for me.

Jeanne D'Arc, Valkyria Chronicles II and the two Ys games for example are all exclusive to the system and already reason enough for me to own a PSP. The remakes/ports of classics which I never played on home consoles are the icing on the cake - and I didn't even mention Persona remakes as I haven't played them yet.
