dude, im not gonna list any games, cause everyone else has been kind enough to do so. you said you're considering xbox360 for shadow complex. man, no one in their right mind considers a console purchase for a single xbox live/psn game. those things tend to last up to 6 hours tops (dunno about shadow complex), but you must want so much more on the 360 than JUST shadow complex to consider it.
based on your taste, i would recommend the ps3, it caters to your genres, has your favorite RPG games, and as someone previously mentioned, will most likely be supported longer by sony than microsoft with 360. so when the generation is over (which is when you are planning to make your HD purchase), chances are, sony will still be releasing solid titles on the ps3. which is good for you.
also, the last thing you wanna do is pay a subscription fee to play xbox live when the generation has ended and most core players have moved on to the next generation. doesn't sound like money well spent to me. you'll be paying to play on mostly dead servers (except for a few highly supported games like CoD/Halo/Gears). At least by that point, PSN is free and if the online community for the game you are playing is dead, you can tilt your cap sideways and throw up the double-birdie in the air like you just don't care.
stop wasting your time thinking and just get a ps3.
