The enemies don't take too much damage if you hit active reloads, snipe them in the face or gib them with the gnasher.

I Don't see how the cover mechanics are clunky, they're the best I've played with, aside from maybe Splinter Cell: Conviction. You hit a button near a wall and boom, you're in cover on that wall.

Nobody's forcing you to chainsaw anybody.

The bull run is hopeless? What does that even mean? Stop being intentionally vague and unclear.

The only way the combat is repetitive is if you make it that way. I don't see how you can call something repetitive when you're the one influencing what's going on. There are plenty of weapons in the campaign and the multiplayer to refudiate your claims of it being repetitive.

Look, I'm comparing it to another game, a game I think is much better in terms of gameplay and combat. Gears 2 is strictly based around covering, shooting, occassionaly chainsawing someone and then moving forward. In comparison, I can use stealth, platform, use a better and more interesting melee system and it'll only take about 6 shots to take down an enemy. The weapons in Uncharted aren't that great either, but Uncharted makes up for it by offering many others methods to use during combat.

Uncharted 2 isn't clunky, wall sticky and I can move in and out between cover quickly and with ease. The same thing could be said for Splinter Cell: Conviction, Vanquish and Infamous, as they've all updated the standard cover shooter mechanics and made them faster, smooter and much more interesting.

All I'm asking is that Epic apply a few of their own changes to their next game, because I didn't think the evolution from Gears 1 to Gears 2 was good enough and in the last three years, other games have come along and done third person shooting better.

The bull run is a useless running mechanic. I understand why it's the way it is, but it doesn't make it good or useful

Also, I just realised your that Fable 3 avatar guy and you can sometimes be a headache to argue with, so if you can, please drop this, I've already explained my position multiple times

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
