How about "The Last Good Generation". I think things have the potential to go south when the next home consoles release. An increase in casual games, consoles that are trying too hard to be entertainment hubs (Ironically, the last console to be called "entertainment system" only played video games), the move towards cinematics over gameplay, and rising development costs make me think that video gaming is going to be harder to define as the "core gamer" that stayed loyal to the hobby is overlooked in favor of the fickle casual gamer.
