Awesome then you'll love it!  GOW3 is incredible as well as both Uncharted games, Infamous, Littlebigplanet, and Killzone 3.

But dude just a warning, you've been spoiled by the shooters on 360 like Halo.  Both Resistance games are litteraly awful.  Story line is pretty interesting and I'm really excited for the 3rd game but both the gameplay and graphics for Resistance are horrible, I would recommend saving your money and getting something else besides those two.

Really? I was under the impression that Resistance games are really good FPS's?

I have played all the resistances, killzone 2, Halo 3, Gears 1 and 2.

I have a lot of experience in fps so I will give you the description of resistance:

It has better weapons than Halo. Weapons are its main attraction, unique one's like marksman and its secondary attack, time-pausing sniper rifles, and grenade launching carbine along with something like a flamethrower but different.

Resistance is a very old game though and you may not enjoy it. And no imo resistance 1 was better than killzone 2.

Resistance 1 is kinda similar to halo and killzone is kinda similar to gears. Even though people compare it the opposite way.

You may want to keep off playing resistance 1 and 2 because playing them again might not be to your taste(since 3 is coming out this year and you will have a huge backlog, plus resistance 2 is not that good even though it has good gunplay).

But you should definitely get killzone 2 and play it before playing killzone 3 lol, its still one of the best looking shooters, and is worth buying almost for that...although it has a call of duty-like campaign with more special effects,  and in an alien world. But its much better, for eg. you can take cover in first-person which is kinda cool.
