Seece if you combine the touch generation wouldn't it be possible to say Nintendo Revival Era? Personally I like the interactive era or motion era better, since both Nintendo and Microsoft have made huge strides in those markets. In fact I think interactive era would be best, with DS/Wii being the market leader, and 360 being second.

It's not even a question of motion, just of how we interface with our games altogether: better integration of online content for adding meat to a game and creating varying ways other players' experience can complement your own, all of this stuff was mostly experimental: motion, camera detection, and complex online gaming beyond the pale of simple mutliplayer
