Why all the FPS hate?

there are too many of them, for one. But i see the light at the end of the tunnel, at the very least it seems we are getting away from the military FPSs. Rage, Bulletstorm, Resistance, Crysis, Conduit, Darkness, Grinder, Bioshock. All are games that are coming that are not military FPSs
