No, I don't think so. GT5's performance after the holidays hasn't exactly been stellar. Without the crazy legs granted to other GTs because of PS1/2's giant userbases and long term sales, I don't think it'll top 10m at all.

Could easily be wrong though - it did do pretty well in November/December.

Prove? GT5 was undertracked here and yet selling almost on par with GT4... after more 3-4 weeks will begin to track better than GT4.

I have no data from previous GTs but what we have show GT5 like the fastest selling GT ever.

Just to remember... GT5 shipped in 6 weeks what GT4 shipped in 6 months... see de difference? It was selling way better.

It was undertracked during the holidays. After that, we have no data save for VGC and it's better to take this lead rather than none at all. That it will begin to track better than GT4 in a few weeks is just your expectation, yet you state it like a fact.

This is getting ridiculous, really. It's not that hard being the best selling out of two when it was released during the holidays and the other wasn't.

Lastly, that was because of the holidays, again. If GT4 has been released during the holidays, it would've shipped and sold more early on. Instead, GT4 had fanstastic legs that GT5 may or may not have.

Since you seem distrustful of VGC data, there is no reason whatsoever to say that GT5 will sell better than GT4 as we have no data for the former outside of the holidays, when its sales were inevitably boosted and the title was made unnaturally frontloaded.
